I DIDN'T BUY THE FARM I MADE IT !!!!!!!!!!! (AKA LOOTERS WILL BE SHOT )

it started with a simple question .can i make a wood texture on foam.that ended up with a barn .and from the barn was spawned a farm house..well i sort off ended making a farm set.mostly built with polystyrene and xps foam .this was a fun little project,i cannot recommend a hot wire cutter enough..if your serious about terrain building i think it is a must..

WARHAMMER FELL / GIANT BATS

the undead now have some reinforcements.quick paint job on these winged horrors.

basic browns and black.with mostly wash's and some minor highlights..found out the hard way ordering from china takes for ever to arrive .the clear rods not the bats lol.

WARHAMMER NINJAS AND RONIN. (AKA THE UNUSED WAR BAND )

so what do ninjas and Skaven have in common .quite a lot it seems.

so these fellows were going to be my original war band for the mordheim campaign.

intended as a Skaven war band .well the kislevites won the coin toss and the rest is history(god bless there souls lol).

so on with the pics the black and red guy with the ladle you have seen before .the ninjas are from the early citadel range and the ronin in orange is again from the old oriental heroes range.

MORDHEIM DARK ELF WARBAND

well its been a long time with no updater will now apply a slap on the wrist for that. but I digress new off the painting table a lovely dark elf war band for mordheim.

I see these guys and girls as a  small raiding or scouting force. there are a few conversions .but theses

were mostly to repair the figures for example the top knots on the marauder scouts and a few replacement limbs for the witch elfs .the cold one hounds were from the dark eldar 40k range but I thought they would double nicely for cold one hounds. i have tried to use mostly marauder miniatures for this project as to be honest I had a hand full hanging around for the paint scheme well I have to admit they are a bit garish lol. but I figure they are slavers for chaos most likely slannessh.anyways

enough of my rubbish here are some pictures.

yep skeleton warriors.

simple paint  job 

spray under coat white

spray tan brown

dry brush white or cream

wash liberally with dark brown ink

paint weapons and shield

and done

i have both spear and sword armed units both of which 

are 40 in number.
